Lev Dmitrievich Mukhin (Russian: Лев Дмитриевич Мухин) (1936—1977) was a Soviet boxer, who won the silver medal in the Heavyweight division (+ 91 kg) at the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne, Australia, , losing by RSC-1 (2:27), to Pete Rademacher of the United States. Radmeacher would score three knockdowns, before the bout was stopped. Coming into the final, Mukhin had stopped all three of his opponents, two of them he defeated after himself being knocked down in the 1st round. Mukhin trained at Spartak in Rostov on Don. He became the Honoured Master of Sports of the USSR in 1957.[1]
